We are working with a leading Kent based law firm who have been established for over 130 years, they are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their award-winning Residential Property team. You will play an important role directly supporting an individual fee earner on a one-to-one basis.
Responsibilities
- Audio and copy typing all correspondence to include letters, legal forms (Oyez) and quotes
- Undertake administrative duties such as photocopying, and updating client details
- Filing correspondence and ensuring files are kept up to date
- Arranging appointments and liaising with clients
- Access and input data on to the firm's client case management system
- Work as part of a team with other secretarial colleagues, assisting with secretarial and telephone cover when required
Requirements
- This role will suit an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary who is used to working within a busy residential property team
- Fast and accurate typing speed will be beneficial
- Strong communication skills and a confident, friendly and outgoing manner both over the phone and in person
- Having a close attention to detail
- A solid knowledge of Word will be essential
