This highly respected name in the pensions industry, is looking for an experienced Defined Benefit (DB) Pensions Consultant to join their team. You'll be part of a forward-thinking organisation that values collaboration, development, and technical excellence.


🌟 What You'll Be Doing:


As a DB Consultant, you'll act as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of corporate and trustee clients, supporting them on a wide range of defined benefit pension matters. This role goes beyond just ticking boxes-you'll help clients navigate complex challenges, support major scheme projects, and drive real value.


Your day-to-day will include:
* Managing and strengthening client relationships, becoming their go-to contact for all things DB
* Advising on governance, compliance, and best practice in relation to scheme secretarial services
* Translating technical pensions issues into clear, actionable advice for trustees and stakeholders
* Leading or supporting key projects such as risk reduction, scheme change, and regulatory reviews
* Mentoring and contributing to team knowledge, sharing your insights and helping develop junior colleagues
* Maintaining a proactive, solutions-focused mindset, always looking for better ways to serve clients


🧠 What You'll Bring:
* Demonstrable experience working in a client-facing DB pensions consultancy role
* Knowledge of scheme secretariat services and involvement in DB-related projects
* Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with strong stakeholder skills
* A collaborative approach and the ability to think strategically while paying attention to detail
