Position Overview
As a Commercial Property Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive advice and support to clients on a wide range of commercial property matters. You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload, handling transactions such as freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, mortgages, re-financings, plot sales, overage, development agreements, and promotion agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on various commercial property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Handle mortgages, re-financings, and plot sales for commercial properties
  • Draft and negotiate overage, development agreements, and promotion agreements
  • Manage your own caseload efficiently, ensuring timely completion of transactions
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the legal process
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality legal services to clients

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in commercial property law
  • Strong knowledge of commercial property transactions and related legal processes
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage own caseload with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and client relationship management skills
  • Experience in residential property work is an advantage
