Position Overview
The Pensions Secretary will support the Trustee Board in maintaining robust governance, overseeing regulatory compliance, and managing trustee communications and activities. This role is crucial in safeguarding the pension scheme's integrity and ensuring its smooth operation for the benefit of all members.

Responsibilities
* Organise and coordinate monthly trustee meetings and documentation
* Maintain accurate records and distribute meeting minutes
* Provide technical guidance and support to trustees
* Conduct quarterly compliance reviews and present updates
* Collaborate with finance team on scheme financial reporting
* Coordinate preparation and audit of annual report and accounts
* Oversee development and distribution of member communications
* Facilitate annual trustee board effectiveness review
* Review and update scheme policies to ensure currency
* Manage urgent issues and support trustee decision-making

Requirements
* Proven experience as Pensions Scheme Manager or Secretary to Trustees
* In-depth knowledge of pension scheme governance and compliance
* Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills
* Relevant professional qualifications in pensions or financial services
