Position Overview
The Senior Associate will play a key role in providing advice to medium and large corporate clients, managing a high workload of complex employment cases, and contributing to the firm's growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Advise employers on a range of employment matters
- Manage a caseload of medium to large corporate clients
- Supervise and mentor junior fee earners
- Negotiate effectively on behalf of clients
- Develop new work from existing client relationships
- Maintain a strong network of professional contacts
- Ensure compliance with quality and risk management procedures
- Perform fee-earning work accurately and reliably
Requirements
- 12+ years PQE in Employment Law
- Strong knowledge and experience in advising employers
- Proven ability to manage a high workload of complex cases
- Experience working with medium to large corporate clients
- Technical expertise in areas such as TUPE, restructures, employee relations, and IR35
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior fee earners
- Excellent negotiation and client relationship skills
- Proficiency in IT skills relevant to modern legal practice
- Flexibility and strong attention to detail
