Our client, a leading high street law firm located in the stunning coastal area of Torbay, is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join their team. Embrace the opportunity to work in a picturesque setting while delivering exceptional legal services to clients.

Position Overview
As a Residential Property Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in the firm's succession planning and continued growth, all while enjoying the vibrant lifestyle that comes with living along the Devon coast. You will inherit an existing caseload, including some high-net-worth matters, and help the firm maintain its reputation for excellent service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, freehold, leasehold, equity release, remortgages, and shared ownership
  • Assisted by an experienced support team, you will provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the property transaction
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth and timely transactions
  • Contribute to the firm's business development and marketing efforts

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 6 years' PQE
  • Proven experience managing a residential property caseload
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing processes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Supervisory experience is advantageous
