Our client, a leading advisory firm with a strong commitment to quality, is seeking an experienced Pensions Actuary to join their dynamic team in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to the firm's continued growth and success in the pensions industry.

Position Overview
As a Pensions Actuary, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored, practical services to the firm's clients, ensuring they have confidence in their employee benefits package. Your expertise and proactive solution-based thinking will be instrumental in surpassing client expectations and driving business growth.

Responsibilities
* Perform complex actuarial calculations and valuations
* Provide joined-up investment and actuarial advice
* Build strong relationships with key decision-makers
* Manage accounts to deliver exceptional client service
* Contribute to the preparation of technical papers
* Develop new propositions and services for the firm
* Mentor and guide less experienced team members
* Actively participate in marketing and new business activities

Requirements
* Solid technical pensions background in private and/or public sectors
* Experience with DB schemes and bulk transfers
* Understanding of employee benefits issues and solutions
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
* Commitment to professional development and growth
