Our client, a well-established family law practice close in Bucks, is seeking a dedicated Family Solicitor with up to 3 years' PQE to join their thriving team. Position Overview
As a Family Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality legal services to clients navigating complex family matters. You will manage a caseload encompassing separation, divorce, financial settlements, and child arrangements, providing expert advice and representation to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients during challenging times.
Responsibilities
- Conduct separation and divorce cases from inception to completion
- Advise and negotiate financial settlements for both needs-based and high net worth cases
- Draft and advise on pre- and post-nuptial agreements
- Manage child arrangement cases with sensitivity and professionalism
- Represent clients at court for routine and preliminary hearings
- Prepare cases thoroughly for major hearings and trials
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with up to 3 years' PQE
- Strong experience in handling private family law matters
- Excellent client care skills with the ability to show empathy
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in case preparation and court representation
- Commitment to delivering the highest standards of service
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
