As a Private Client Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in administering estates, trusts, and inheritance tax matters, ensuring clients receive expert guidance and support during sensitive times. Your work will directly contribute to the firm's commitment to providing exceptional legal services and maintaining long-standing relationships with clients in the community.
Responsibilities
- Assist with casework related to Wills, Probate, and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Apply for and obtain grants of probate efficiently and accurately
- Set up trusts and settle tax liabilities in accordance with client instructions
- Maintain precise time costing procedures to ensure transparency
- Adhere to the firm's professional and procedural standards consistently
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor or CILEX with a minimum of 2 years PQE
- Committed team player with excellent client care skills
- Ability to handle client matters with sensitivity and empathy
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, initiative, and sound judgment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and legal software
- STEP qualification is advantageous but not essential
