Position Overview
As an Actuarial/Pensions Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of defined benefit (DB) pensions projects for occupational DB pension clients, public sector DB pension clients, and bulk annuity providers.
Responsibilities
* Lead DB pensions projects, including due diligence and audits
* Validate and improve data for pensions calculations
* Test calculations against automated results using pensions knowledge
* Create and review benefit summary specifications
* Attend client meetings and calls as primary contact
* Document issues and results with clear communication style
* Produce and review consulting reports on projects
Requirements
* Experience in DB pensions technical or administration role
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Proficiency in pensions calculations
* Practical, wide/deep knowledge of occupational DB pensions
* Flexibility to work on various DB pensions projects simultaneously
* Ability to deliver to tight timescales
